The PVRX2 native log includes lines ...

2009-08-13 19:03:28.526 VERBOSE locked=0 present=0 strength=100000 quality=0

and

2009-08-13 19:03:07.908 VERBOSE locked=1 present=1 strength=17050 quality=100

quality=100 is good reception =0 is no reception.

If you edit the Digital Source in config you should see a Device Number. As I understand it, (badly!) some dual tuner cards require the first tuner to be 1 and the second to be 2 ... other dual tuner cards require both to be device number 1. You might try fiddling with that.

Else, wait until someone more helpful comes along. They will be here soon.

I think, because of the two entries in filterlog that it is treated as two separate devices - where those drivers that need different device numbers only report a single driver name.
So long as the two different names are given to the sources they should be OK.
I see that tuner is already in subs bda.ini file, so there is no need to tweak it.

If you are feeling adventurous, you could try the Hauppauge tuner utility that shows signal strength for all channels that it can find. It seems to work with most BDA drivers and not limited to Hauppauge tuners. It has been know to help find signal strength problems in the past. It works at a low level, so is less dependant on TV software.

The Scan Channel log output is perfect and shows that you have good reception on the six frequencies/muxes that you would expect.

In the BDA folder of GBPVR you will find files called summat like SCANblah.cache. This is GBPVR reporting what it found during the channel scan in config. Do these files shed any light?

PS It will be worth the effort when its all up and running

The following is based on what has been working for me for years.

Click Edit in the Capture Sources tab in config. Click Settings. Country should be "Borders and Northern England" and Regions/Transmitter should be "Pontop Pike". This will use 0071.ini in folder C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA\DVB-T to obtain the frequencies for your transmitter.

Click Map Digital Channels ... and do a scan. This should scan the six freqencies listed in 0071.ini. The results of the scan will be in folder C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\BDA\ in a file called SCAN-1.cache or SCAN-2.cache. Do these files include all of the Freeview channels?

What are you using as your EPG source? "DVB EPG Broadcast" is easiest to begin with.

On the Playback tab of config ... click the drop down list for Video Decoder. You should see a list of the decoders found on your machine. This list should include "MPEG Video Decoder" that is built in to Windows and is not recommended with GBPVR. The list should also include any dcoder installed by the software that came with your tuner or installed by any DVD player software. Select a decoder from the list. Do not leave it on "system default". You have a Nvidia graphics card. I get excellant results using the Nvidia Purevideo decoder. You can install a trial from ...

http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder.html

You can decide later if you want to pay for Purevideo or find a free decoder.

In the Misc2 tab of config set BDA Multiplexer to "Microsoft DVR-MS".

In the Misc tab of config tick "Use Live Preview mode if possible" and set Deinterlacing to "Encoder Pass-through"

Does any of all this help?
