GB-PVR doesnt ship with any decoders, and relies on the decoders you supply. You try setting the 'audio renderer' back to system default though, because this is a common cause of stalled playback.

So how is the MPEG-2 Playback pull-down on the "Playback" page in GB Setup populated? Is it pre-set in the software, or does it look on my system to see what decoders are available?

The decoder lists in the config app are populated with those from the config.xml lists which are found on your machine.

I do have search results for the whole computer with all .ax files - is there a list of the decoders and muxes by name somewhere? Is there a Windows directory GB looks at where I could make sure they're placed?

There is instructions on those patches for how to install them (basically run "regsvr32 C:\path\to\decoderfilename.ax").
Probably best not to put them in the GB-PVR directory either. Create some other directory elsewhere. |
