I prefer these to the popcorn hour in some respects because of the better pricing over here.

I can get a refurbished A100 delivered for about $10 CDN more than the current WD player (when the WD is on sale). The EGreat is about $70 more. Figuring the new model will cost a little bit more, s GBPVR user should question is it really worth saving $3 a month over a couple of years to lose GBPVR functionality?

Yeah I know - but price over here is the WD TV is $199, $179 on special. Popcorn Hour (a110 works out to about $400) the c200 almost $500.

There's a big difference there. For me I'd rather have the popcorn, but that pricing puts me off, and for friends that just want to be able to play stuff off their hard drives, getting the WD TV (which you can buy from a brick and mortar store) is a no brainer.

Martin, do you know if the C200 woud definitely play our Freeview|HD streams with the HE-AAC-LC audio? I'm still thinking about one, and wondering if it might be worth getting one.

Especially if I can share freight with someone.
