Hi,
I'm new here and playing a little bit with this nice software. I'm senior software developper by myself and had special view of what is nessesary in a mediacenter sw and what ist nonsens.
So I dont like a slow and too much designed gui. my wife and my son must use it also. I found what i need here, but

the current version is not very new. Is anybody still developing on it?

But I really do hope that 09-08-29 is almost 20 years away.:p

If the GUI is not to your taste then the skins are available to develop.
Plugins are also available for developers and integrate nicely with gbpvr.

The core software is not open and possibly more stable because of this Big Grin

I think when he says closed he means 'finished', as in no longer being developed on. Although it could be read either way
