webbrowser controlled music player?

mine just worked just had to add the address in the settings (same address as machine its on)
and away it went
its actually really good once i got the iphone sorted (no double click with iphone)

I know it's not really what you want, but itunes remote works really well for me on my ipod touch - full library with same interface as ipod - but you've got to have itunes running.

yeah i have that on my iphone it works great.

do you know (or does anyone else) know a application (mac and pc) that can control an instance of itunes like the iphone app? i dont care if itunes has to run in the background for 24x7
