Getting problems scanning for channels due to the digital switchover here (Wales - Kilvey transmitter), scan using kilvey does not get all channels but if i scan using all counties/regions i do get them.
So i assume that the ini file for kilvey has incorrect channel details.
Appreciate any info on sorting this.
Thanks

Actually, I think there will be enough info in the Scan-n cache you got from the all regions scan to fix your ini file. If you want to zip and post it, I'll have a go...

I don't suppose we can hope for a guy in New Zealand to be able to update transmitter frequencies all over the world.
If you can manage to edit the file 0129.ini in \program files\devnz\gbpvr\bda\dvb-t so that a normal scan works and post the result here, it may well get included in future versions.

Things are going to be messy during the digital changeover - it is about three years away from me I think.

update:-
Looking at the post from ACTCMS then this might be the data for the 0129.ini file. ttry it and let us know?

[TERTYPE]
1=Wales
2=Kilvey Hill
[DVB]
0=7
1=C26,514000,0,0,8
2=C25,506000,0,0,8
3=C29,538000,0,0,8
4=C22,482000,0,0,8
5=C28,530000,0,0,8
6=C23,490000,0,0,8
7=C30,546000,0,0,8

Yep - I would say it was up to us locals to handle the changeover. Which is why I fancied having a go at this one...Smile

Picking the channels from the link you gave and the frequencies and other oddities from the 0000.ini file - it looks at first glance to be an easy fix
(if it works that is). Big Grin

I wanted to see the Scan-n cache file first to see if I could determine any offsets.

Here's the scan cache.
Thanks for the help in sorting this, i assume that i replace some of the channel info in the ini file for kilvey, with relevant info from scan cache.

Ok, just changed ini file to this -

[TERTYPE]
1=Wales
2=Kilvey Hill
[DVB]
0=6
1=C25,506000,0,0,8
2=C22,482000,0,0,8
3=C28,530000,0,0,8
4=C23,490000,0,0,8
5=C26,514000,0,0,8
6=C29,538000,0,0,8

Worked ok, so problem solved, thanks for the help.

Could you try making a copy of your 0129.ini file (in your gbpvr\BDA folder) and creating a new one containing

Code:
[TERTYPE]
1=Wales
2=Kilvey Hill
[DVB]
0=6
1=C23,490000,0,0,8
2=C26,514000,0,0,8
3=C29,538000,0,0,8
4=C25,506000,0,0,8
5=C22,482000,0,0,8
6=C28,530000,0,0,8
then try a rescan

Yep - yours is basically the same as mine and martin123's... it might be worthwhile addiing martin123's 7th mux - I would imagine that it will be used for something eventually...
