I'll admit I don't exactly get it.

The web interface installed by GBPVR and EWA are one in the same. EWA is developed by the community (primarily UncleJohnsBand but anyone can contribute) and not by sub but sub includes it in the GBPVR install.

Just one more thing worth mentioning (but not particularly useful to the original poster) - you can use Remote Desktop if your server is running Vista or Windows7. The UI and video show up just fine when remote desktop'ing into these newer versions of Windows.

Watchable, yes - you can see video over Remote Desktop. I cant remember whether there was audio, but I think so. Maybe a few frames of video per seconds - more than enough for any small maintance jobs that need to be performed over remote desktop.

No remote desktop solution is going to give you full speed video playback, but I cant think of any reason you'd want to do that.

I found RDC did work in Vista as sub described, but on Win7 RC it doesn't work again (for GBPVR I mean). Perhaps it's just broken in the RC, I dunno.

I'm running the 7100RC, and it works fine for me. As noted, it also works on my Vista machine.

Oh, I know why it doesn't work for me: I'm running FSE. That surely breaks RDC, but still works with TightVNC.
