Hey Guys,

I have yesterday recieved my NMT (Egreat M34A). I now try to access GBpvr from it. I can access my share on my Vista Machine (//desktophugo/mvpmc).
I can also open the file 'GB-PVR.html'. When I then select one of the following options:
  • GB-PVR
  • GB-PVR via Network Browser
  • GB-PVR via USB
I recieved a error message: 'Request cannot be processed'. I have install GBpvr with the file: 'NMTInstall.exe'. I have left al options default.
In the config.xml file state my MAC-address of my NMT.
<MAC-0006DC444D67>
<MVPSendIncrementalUpdates>true</MVPSendIncrementalUpdates>
<MVPClientType>PCH2</MVPClientType>
<MVPWidth>1280</MVPWidth>
<MVPHeight>720</MVPHeight>
<MVPOffsetX>0</MVPOffsetX>
<MVPOffsetY>0</MVPOffsetY>
</MAC-0006DC444D67>
For the settings in the 'GB-PVR.html' file see the following attachment:
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

Can somebody tell my where I most look or how I can fix this or what I do wrong?

Thanx a Lot!

Regards, Hugo

The first thing to do is to power off and on you EGreat and try and load GB-PVR via the Network Browser. That should work unless your share is not configured properly or you have some firewall rules. Before proceeding make sure you can connect with the Network Browser.

The next step is to follow this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=40394 You probably changed the name of the share when you installed the share on the EGreat

The problem is the name on the EGreat, 8883 is not open on the PC. To check the name you want to use the EGreat's IP here

http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8883/network_share.html

That isn't a test, it just displays a name as explained in the other thread. Can you load GB-PVR via the Network Browser?

Opening the html file doesn't mean your share permissions are correct. You probably should use the usb method until you get it sorted out. Some instructions for the usb share are here http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=4

I have copy the folder mvpmc to a USBkey then plugin the NMT. Load Gb-pvr.html from the USBkey. Select the option 'GB-pvr via USB'. Then I reseived the same error message 'Request cannot be processed'. Rolleyes
I have really no idea what to do.... :confused: How can I run telnet from the NMT? In the URL you have POST. Read I to setup the display of the NMT not to 'auto', see this picture for my settings: [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND].
I have also try to setup a username and password in the file: 'gbpvr.cgi' edit with Editpad, unfortunately this was not the solution. The USBkey is 2GB great and FAT32 format.

I hope so you have more options to try the NMT working!

Don't worry it will work we have to figure out what you have done to make it not work. Rather than copying the files to USB can you run the instructions I posted and try to run from a USB drive. If you require a username and password on your share the Network Browse method won't work, it is designed for guest shares.

I also would like you to zip up your GB-PVR.html and the cgi files so I can look at them.

Your settings seem fine, but I would have thought in the NL you would want 50 Hz.
