I nearly made the same post this morning.

I finally ordered one this morning. I had been putting it off and putting it off since I'm cheap. But college football has started and I have my media server/tuners out in the garage. I am tired of watching tv in the garage. I was afraid I had missed out on the refurb deal since they were out of stock for so long. I can't wait for it to arrive. Any idea on how long they take to fill a batch and ship? In the US are there any additional fees/duties?

Not sure exactly when they will ship, but you can watch the thread here:

http://www.networkedmediatank.com/forumd...php?fid=66 They will update that a couple days before they ship. I don't know about extra fees/duties, somebody who has already received one will have to fill us in on that.

No fees that I remember when I got mine. Only shipping, about $15, IIRC.

Took about 10 to 14 days for mine to turn up from order date...pretty good Ithought.

Does anyone know when popcorn hour stops providing firmware updates for the A-100, considering that the A-110 is out.

The A100 and A110 use pretty much the same firmware, the A100 will continue to be the prime beta platform. Truthfully there has't been a significant upgrade to the firmware in 2009 anyway and even though there is a lot potential left I doubt that much of value will happen from here to end of life. What feature are you looking for? Martin

No real features, just future proofing my thoughts if I were to sink $99.00 into it. I've waited for some time for the refurbs to show, but no units have become available recently up until now, so I ordered the 110 a few weeks ago.

I am happy with my A110 I bought a couple of weeks ago - I run without harddisk if it matters. I could use another upstairs.

what is the difference of A100 contra A110? anyone bought the refurbished and seen problems?
