Remote connection

Hi,

I am new to GB-PVR.
I have a MCE 2005 machine that I just installed GB-PVR (1.4.7)onto. I am trying to view the guide so I can setup recording. When I launch PVRX2 I get the "Sorry this system does not support the required VMR9 video render" I am accessing the machine from a remote desktop connection. I do not have a monitor hooked up to the PVR, I always did it this way with MS Media Center.

Windows XP Pro Sp3
AMD 2600+
768 MB Ram
NVIDIA Geforce 6200
Hauppauge PVR-150
DirectX 9c

You can't do RDP on XP and see the gbpvr interface.

You''ll need to use vnc and turn the hook driver off.

Its because of the VMR/Direct3d that is used by pvrx2.

As a side note, you can turn on the web interface on the Misc2 page of the config app and schedule recordings (plus lots more).
