Weird, start pxrx2 and it holds about 100% of the cpu for a couple of minutes.

Here' is the log as it starts, as far as I can tell, the high cpu usage is during loading of the tv guide (even though i haven't activated it).

So even though I'm 10 mins in to watching something the cpu is still running at 100%.

just checked the db size just in case its stupidly large, but nope, normal size... I have no idea whats causing this, there have been no changes as far as i know. One patch went down this morning (for secure login or something) but that was after i noticed this happening.

The other other chane I made a week ago was to turn off checkforreanmedrecordings in config.xml.

But the recording service hadn't been restarted till today.

Maybe a wrong config.xml format? I think I had that once. I saved it the wrong way or something like that.

I cant see an obvious cause in the logs.

Does the CPU settle down if you leave it for a few minutes?

It didn't, but a couple of reboots later it did. No idea what caused it, but i's sorted out now.
