I set up my tuners to use mc2xml as the source for the guide data. The guide shows up beautifully...with one problem.

The actual time is 1 hour past where the guide data displays. In the settings I noticed a time shift area and set it at -01:00 on all 4 tuner guides, I then updated all 4 of them. Same problem.

Any ideas?

Since the wife requires recording a few things I temporarily set the windows time 1 hour back so the guide lined up and she could record accordingly.

I will greatly appreciate any help you guys can offer.

On a side note, the power supply in my box died 3 nights ago. I bought a new hard drive and loaded everything, including windows from scratch. Gbpvr loads and works as it always has...excellent. Thanks again for this program Sub!

I'm guessing your PC timezone it set incorrectly, or not configured to auto adjust for daylight savings.

most likely it's the change in dst dates they made a while back, which requires a change in windows' time tables...
i just use a reg entry that does the adjustment, and pretty sure it works for both vista and xp..

if you don't adjust it, the real time change next sunday will happen and it won't adjust, you'll have to do it manually again...

attaching a reg file, just double click and hit yes then ok, then double click the time in the tray, click time zone tab, change the time zone to any other time zone, hit apply, then change back to your time zone, and hit ok...[this is to get windows to notice the change]

on a side note: here is a batch cmd you can set windows' time auto-update interval...[the Internet Time tab in calendar]
save as something.bat and run it..
Code:
@echo off
net stop w32time
set secs=14400
set hrs=4
set /p hrs=How many hours between updates? [enter for 4hrs]
set /a secs=%hrs% * 60 * 60
echo %secs%
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient /f /v SpecialPollInterval /t REG_DWORD /d %secs%
reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\NtpClient /f /v SpecialPollInterval /t REG_DWORD /d %secs%
net start w32time
it'll ask how many hours between updates...i use 4 hrs...
keeps the time pretty accurate...Smile
