If I don;t select any post download trancoding for my iplayer downloads and I end up with an .flv file as expected.

However, ffdshow will only playback flv files if they have an .flv1 extension instaed of .flv.

http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/..._files.cfm

renaming the file to .flv1 works fine.

would it be possible for this plugin to name the file as .flv1 instead of .flv?

It would probably be worth changing the configuration settings to disable autoupdate and see if that lets you get further. Re attach the logs once you have had a go.

Thanks for the help - but it's all working now. A reboot seems to have fixed the problem (whatever it was!). Might be worth adding this to the readme.

The naming of files is controlled by the GetIplayer perl script so It would have to be a post process activity I guess.

I'm pretty sure I can playback flv files using ffdshow, I use media player classic and it will play them fine?

I've installed the iPlayer plugin in to my new GBPVR build but am having a few problems.

Basically if I go to Search iPlayer I go back to the Main Menu. Similarly if I go to TV Favourites (which works) and select a program I get sent back to the Main Menu. What might be wrong or what more do you need from me to troubleshoot this?

What skin are you using? I would try it with the default 'Blue' skin and then post the logs if it still does not work.

Looks like the error is in the logs:

Code:
2009-11-05 17:00:38.750    VERBOSE    [1]    Looking for missing assembly in C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\plugins\Music: WizUiHelper, Version=1.0.20.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
2009-11-05 17:00:38.750    VERBOSE    [1]    Looking for missing assembly in plugin\common: WizUiHelper, Version=1.0.20.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
Looks like you probably have not got the WizUiUtils installed, I would download it from:

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...izDLLs.zip

Let me know if you are still having issues.

Thanks for the reply - I'd actually spotted that after I posted the logs and managed to find the download link (it's not linked to on the Wiki page and I thought is was included in one of the other components I had to install). Once I got the files all seems well!

I've recently installed iPlayer plugin and find I have similar problem to Liteswap (2009-10-30, 08:21PM). Attempting to start iPlayer causes GBPVR to freeze - then needs app to be stopped from task manager. I, like Liteswap, tried stopping the [I]GetIplayer+ Service[I] I get further and the plugin opens, but nothing useful can be done. I have tried re-starting PC, but still the same
I have attached my most recent logs... Any help would be appreciated[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]
