I recently upgraded my computer from Vista to Windows 7. I was using the SAF codec pack, but I uninstalled it prior to doing the upgrade. After the upgrade, I set my video and H.264 decoder both to use the built in Windows decoder (Microsoft DTV-DVD video decoder).
All my TS recordings (mpeg2 and H.264) play fine, but the analog .mpg recordings no longer play. Looking at the graph in GraphStudio shows all boxes as disconnected.
My guess is that I am missing the filter that splits the MPG container stream. It was probably deregistered or uninstalled by my recent changes. What filter normally handles the splitting of MPG files? How would I get this installed again?
