I'm having trouble getting v2.0.2 working. I added the player and mplayer lines to my config.xml. When navigating in Web Radio is kicks me out to the main menu when I select anything. GBPVR is on my "H" drive and I have a feeling is my problem but I can't pinpoint it. Thanks.

Did you make the required C:\Temp folder? It doesn't matter that GBPVR is on the H drive.

Martin,

out of interest:

Quote:Did you make the required C:\Temp folder?

does the 'temp' have to be 'Temp' with an uppercase or does it also work with a small 't'?

Cheers

I have a "H:\Temp" folder. I don't have a "C" drive, only "H". Long story. Smile

I'm not sure what happens if someone has enabled case sensitivity with the registry key
but I think the code is all lower case.

Sorry you are out of luck for now, maybe in 2.0.3

How long is your story! What version of Windows are you on? Surely you have a C drive somewhere?

Hi Martin,

Quote:I'm not sure what happens if someone has enabled case sensitivity with the registry key but I think the code is all lower case.

Was only asking because for some reason or other am sure we all needed to set up a C:\temp for something else some time ago.

Could your installer not check if it is there and create if not? And hopefully not case specific?

Cheers

Web Radio downloads a lot of cached files and I wanted people to be aware rather than silently creating a folder. I'm still debating the best way to do this.

@arkennedy75 I guess you could use the venerable subst command

mkdir h:\temp

rem create a folder for web radio
mkdir h:\temp\temp

subst c: h:\temp

or you could use net use c: to a share to see how this works.

Martin, can't argue with this, it is always good to know what an install is putting where and NOT silently.

@arkennedy75 am very apologetic for hijacking your thread but as Martin said there will be a way to find a C drive

Cheers
