I will try giving it a direct line. But my TV (Panny Plasma) seems to have no problem picking up the signal from the split line. I have the cable modem sharing this line as well. Which then goes through a signal splitter (powered) box.

Will try tomorrow. Thanks much for your help!

You should be fine with just the one split to the cable modem and then an active (powered) splitter unless the signal coming into the house is really low. Wouldn't hurt to try a direct line though.

Folks,
I tried the direct line, but no luck. Tuning in config works great but when I switch to PVRX2 it keeps giving me the 'No signal detected' message. Am I missing a step of letting
GBPVR know wht to use for the signal? I am stumped especially when in config it shows up fine!

Regards,
Milind

Samething as milidin, is happening to me. I can record with some hiccups. I can view the recording almost fine afterwards. But when viewing live tv, it does not work well. Unable to change channels fluidly. There is lag. The screen is almost always black. And almost always "weak signal" display. There is a splitter with tv( which tv viewing is good). But i changed it to direct to mygica card and still same problem. I tried using Wintv usb from Nero liquid tv and same problem.

Mygica 8350 card
Windows xp pent 2.0 768mb ram. 160mb hd space. OTA channels only with antenna in New Orleans Metro area.

I recorded NFC champion ship. And looks kinda of good with some hiccups. But again when viewing live...no go.
