Pinnacle PCTV DVB-T Stick (72e)

I like the gbpvr EPG & scheduler, used it with a hauppauge PVR1300. I had to change cards- the 1300 kept locking up the PC. I've now got the pinnacle USB stick shown above. It isn't shown in the supported list, so I added the following to BDA.ini, as per the guide.

This does not work - config cannot detect the stick, and when I tick the box "Only show devices detected in this machine" I get back "No known cards detected in this machine"

Can anyone help?? DVB Dream and web scheduler work, but I prefer the gbpvr guide/scheduler.

i bet the (Dev1 Path0) part doesn't belong..

Works fine, thank you. Why are the quotes required? I notice that they are only used occasionally.

The manufacturer seems to have added a 'space' to the end of the name. The quotes let the application see that space.

Just checked,see what you mean. Seems strange that you need to quote the string to get the final space included, when you are reading a string of space separated words - unless each word is read as a space-separated argument and concatenated later.

Thats just the way the Windows API for reading .ini files works - when you ask for string from a .ini file, trailing spaces are ignored unless they're quoted.

can anyone help me to solw a problem with my Pinnacle PCTV DVB-T Stick (72e).
my computer detected the new hardware and i have installed Pinnacle Software, but it seems like there is not any device...

also i was trying to creat a DBA.ini file but i didn't manage to solw my problem!
