No channels with PCTV Dual Sat Pro PCI 4000i

I will give up my good old installation (PVR350 + PVR150MCE).
Now I have a NVIDEA GeForce 5200 and a PCTV Dual Sat Pro PCI 4000i and many problems

Installing pctv driver (TVCenter Pro / TVC Pro).

But scan can not find any stations (cable works with my SMART Reciver).

I have one fix antenna and my SMART receiver works with the following settings.
Satellit: Astra 19,2E
LNB Frequenz: Universal LNB(9750-10600)
Transponder: 11837 H 27500
DiSEqC1.0: Port 1
DiSEqC1.1: Off

Signal 90%
Quality: 75%

Do a scan then post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

In those logs it looks like the device hooks up ok, and manages to lock signals but no channels are identified.

From a recent, non GBPVR related project, I know there is one specific quirk to this PCTV sat card that may be causing the problem. Most devices deliver data to applications in smallish chunks, usually about 50kb or so, but this device delivers really hugh chunks of about 1MB. It possible isnt liking those huge chunks of data.

Normally I'd offer to give you a patch to check/fix that theory, but unfortunately my build has moved on and is no longer compatible with 1.4.7, so you'll need to wait for the next release before I can do that.

I can not run TVC Pro because my Activation Key doesn't works.
At the moment I'm waiting for a mail from PVTC support :mad:

ISTR you looking quickly into this sometime ago with mine sub.
The tuner works fine but produces no results with a scan. I am using an imported cache file for the UK Sky channels and that it OK.
I believe dvbviewer, dvbdream and the like work with this card and I think there is a plugin for them that can extract the data from their scanning to enable use with gbpvr (check the wiki ??).

I tested PCTV 6 (no official support for my card) and channel scan works (day-long).
PVTC 6 doesn't start on my PC, but PCVT Settings can export the channels as XML (attached ZIP).
Is there a chance to import this file into GBPVR?

There is nothing that would do it automatically for you, but you can always try creating a scan.cache file manually by specifying all the PIDs etc. For more than a few channels this would be a painful experience though...

It would be much easier if a fellow countryman of yours with the same satellite lineup could volunteer their cache file and you then just copy it and map the channels. offers ????
