How I change filesize to 3.9GB?

I am recording TV shows on Notebook, then I need to copy files to my external FAT32 HDD so I can plug it into my PS3 and copy files to my PS3 and watch the TV shows on my TV.

The PS3 cannot read NTFS.

FAT32 don't allow more than 3.9GB filesize.

Is it possible to tell GB-PVR to stop recording at 3.9GB and then continue into a new file?

It would be easier if you shared the files from your Netbook and watched them over the network.

Using a program like 'VideoReDo' allows you to edit any recorded mpg file, remove adverts, shorten length (time) and copy directly to your external HDD. It takes only minutes, about the same time as transferring.
