much better quality in WinTv2000

when i'm using Wintv2000 i get much better quality in live Tv
i'm using hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150
what can i do to improve the quality? :eek:

GB-PVR doesnt do the playback itself, instead it relies on third-party components already installed on your machine. If you use the same bitrate and MPEG2 decoder as as WinTV2000, then you'll get the same results.

WinTV2000 uses the Intervideo NonCSS Video Decoder. I'm not sure what it bitrate it uses. It also uses Overlay renderer (instead of VMR7/9), which may also have an impact on quality on you machine.
