NZ DVB-S Aus channels

I got an email today:

Australian Channel 9 , 9HD and GO! have all started FTA on Optus D1
12519 V sr 16670 Fec 3/4

Dual beam Aus+NZ

Has anyone had a play at getting them yet? When I did a scan it found them but now when I try to watch them all I get is no lock - strength:10000 quality:0 & it is a tad tooooooo windy at the moment for me to get up on the roof to tweak my dish to see if it is out of alignment......so it would be nice to know that they were actually able to be received before I start tweaking.

I saw a email yesterday saying they were there, and then an email early this afternoon saying they were gone, so I think you've missed your chance.

There's been some chat about this over on the freeviewshop forums. Punters there think it was a test, as the Aus government has made an announcement that all Aussie public channels will be available on satellite. This could mean that some of them end up on the NANZ beam on D1, like the Tasmanian SBS channels are.

a while back you used to be able to get southern cross tv from oz but they changed it to a test pattern (about a year ago)
