Go to http://www.sysinternals.com. (Don't worry when you get redirected to something like http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysin...fault.aspx. Click on "Process Utilities" on the left. Look for "Process Explorer" and go to that page. Download Process Explorer. Extract the files & put them somewhere you will remember like "C:\Program Files\SysInternals". Execute Process Explorer (procexp.exe). Make sure "Show Processes From All Users" is selected under the "View" menu. Click on the Binoculars icon or press Ctrl + F or select "Find Handle or DLL..." on the "Find" menu. Use a search term like "devnz" without the quotes. It will list everything that is running on your system that has "devnz" in it. Most likely, you'll see whatever process is still running tha you don't want. The left-most column is the process name. You can kill it from the main panel.

Some background: SysInternals was a organization that was independent of Microsoft & knew Windows operating systems inside & out. Microsoft bought them, but they are still a good resource to know about. You can configure Process Explorer to replace Task Manager. It does everything Task Manager does plus a whole lot more. If you do that, whatever you do now to start Task Manager will bring up Process Explorer instead. The only problem I've run into with that was when I had the driver for an Artec tuner loaded in my system, Process Explorer would run out of handles trying to monitor it. My guess is that the driver was badly written.

Another option. Go to http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2...93998.html
and get Unlocker. I find it a very useful program
install it (you will need admin rights). Uncheck the 'ebay shortcuts'. Not really a problem, just kind of a bother.

Then got to C:\Program Files\Devnz
right click on GBPVR and choose Unlocker.
That should show you everything that has files open within the GBPVR folder.
You should be able to kill them or unlock the files with it.

I used your recommended, It did removed remain 1 MB file from Dezvn/gbpvr. But I still get same error message like before, I guessed my PC not working right.

Nothing like hitting a dead end on every attempt...
Ok, what files, if any, are left in the devnz folder?
Make sure "GBPVR Tray" is also removed from the Start menu's >Programs>Startup folder.

(I would have expected that application it to have shown up in the "Processes" tab of the task manager.)

Hmmmmm,

others may give different advice, and they could be right!

I would uninstall any unnecessary programs for now from control panel. Any of those that have cluttered your installation.

I would then re-install GBPVR.

Once installed I would then once again attempt to uninstall GBPVR....

Edit:
