Looks like I'll have to keep searching then. Thanks for all your help.

After a reboot, can you try another scan, then post another set config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log?

Forgive me for getting back to basics.

I assume that you want to use the card for receiving digital TV. In Config, Capture Sorces tab, Add button, Recording Source is Digital Recording plugin, EPG Source is DVB Broadcast.

Recording Source Settings button then device is Compro E900f and Device Number is 1.

Add a second Capture Source doing everything the same except set Device Number to 2.

Basics is good. I have almost no experience with TV cards and their software. I did everything you said and i still get the error when i go to map digital channels to EPG channels.

Beats me. There are bonkers messages about writing to protected memory in you config log ... that kinda stuff is above my pay grade.

I'm done for the night. I expect someone will come along in the night and post the solution (fingers crossed).

Thanks for trying to help. i've also tried mediaportal and a couple paid programs and every single one has had a different problem with either the card or the server. I guess all this hard work will be worth it when i get it working though.

I tried all that and my advice is stick with GBPVR ... this is where you will get the best support ... but not from me this time.

It looks looks like its having a problem rendering some of Microsoft default directshow pins. I'm not sure why this would be though.

My guess is there is something screwy with your Windows install, and you might find the problem would just go away on another Windows install. Do you have another Windows machine there you can try it on? If it does work on another machine, then you might need to invest the time to reinstall Windows.

I have another desktop running windows 7 . I'm having some trouble updating it from RC at the moment though. when i get that sorted I'll try installing it on there. does gbpvr usually work on WHS systems?
