Hauppauge card not found

I have a new HP Win 7 (64 bit) with a Hauppauge HVR-1290 (same drivers as the 1250 per Hauppauge tech) being fed by Dish Network TV 2 (uses channel 73). I'm trying to set this up as a "fixed channel" but the choices I see listed for analog Hauppauge does not support the 1290 from HP and I did not see the 1250 listed. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm fairly sure this device should be usable as a digital tuner (not analog due to missing hardware MPEG2 encoder).

Can you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, and post the filtercheck.log?

You won't be able to use this card for Dish with GBPVR since it does not have the required hardware encoder on the analog side as sub said.

So I would only be able to use it with S-Video or Composite?

Those are still part of the analog side. You would only be able to use the digital tuner in the card with GBPVR but the digital tuner is incompatible with Dish.
