I have TS files that I recorded from other apps. Some of them play, and some don't. They play fine in Media Player Classic HC.

Any Ideas on how to get them all working?

Zip and post your logs after attempting to play one that doesn't work. But it's most likely related to the decoders you have (or don't have) on your system. By default, MPC-HC uses it's own internal decoders.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't use the internal decoders of MPC HC. I use Cyberlink for both MPEG2 and H264, EVR renderer, and Nvidia for audio.

I hope these are the right logs!

Thanks

It looks like it cant detect what streams are in the .ts file.

If these were recorded with another app, its possible they're not 188 byte aligned, or something. If you're able to supply a small sample recording, I'll take a look.

I've only used TS Doctor a few times (trial version) and it's been 50/50 for me but you might want to give it a try. http://www.cypheros.de/tsdoctor_e.html

All I have are large files. Can anyone recommend a tool to cut out a sample of one of them?

You might want to start by copying the info. from the MPC File->Properties Media Info and Details tab into a post A lot of downloaded ts files could be m2ts.

You can use the CutChunk utility from this post: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=3

I had a look on the NMT, and I have trouble finding a PAT in this sample. I have several other samples like this which I know I could play using the PID's but GBPVR doesn't support these files in my experience so I haven't bothered with them. Most TS remuxers (TS4NP, TSRemux and even ffmpeg) will create a compatible file though.
