It's unlikely to be the GBPVR installation itself that's the problem but the codecs/filters on your machine. What does Graphstudio show if you select the .ts recording and render it? Does it play with audio? (assume it will do if WMP plays them ok). You can use this to determine what filters are actually being selected and what others might be getting in the way with too high a priority. Either that, or try the SAF codec pack (linked in the wishlist forum) which makes a very good attempt to sort out filters and priorities for use with GBPVR.

Solved with ffdshow -- no clue why, but the files play now!
Ok - glad to you found a way to get it working.

Similar problem here.
I must add following: my problem occurred when I have installed PCI sound card. With onboard everything was fine (or I didn't test properly before!?). I have automatic conversion to Xvid - avi is fine (that is the reason why I possibly didn't noticed wrong behaviour with onboard soundcard - maybe I was checking just avi's!?). Also, .ts plays with audio in Windows MP. With Mpeg everything is fine (Cyberlink mux)
I'll try solution with ffmpeg, although I thihk I already have ffmpeg.

Basically, I run into this problem having huge problems with Live TV since I have installed PCI soundcard. I could not get Audio, then sometimes neither Video in Live TV! Recordings were without audio.
In original software (which is crap) I could get video, but no audio in Live TV - and funny thing: recordings (mpeg2) have audio! All this after new soundcard is installed.

Finally, I managed to have situation like described in this thread (though I don't know what I have changed so significantly from the beginning).
Still, very often it takes quite a long time for GBPVR to "snatch" the channel when Live TV is started. Sometimes I need to change channel and then it connects immediately! This happens only on Live TV start.
Is it possible that Live TV "snatch" is faster if I have mpeg muxer selected instead of ts? Or is it just my placebo? Smile

Why sound card produced such a problems to Live TV (to GBPVR and original software)? Other software didn't bother to this change.

Now I have Audio Renderer set to Speakers with my soundcard selected. All other are back to System Default, after a lot of experimenting.
I downloaded MPV and MPA decoder - it did not help. At some point I even lost video with MPV selected.

The strangest thing to me is that I have both audio and video in Scan window in config (Edit Capture Source /Map digital ch. to EPG)! Even when I was without both in Live TV, I had everything all right in Scan window! That gave me idea that reason to my trouble is "something stupid". Smile I mean, how come you could have everything ok in Scan, and not in PVRX2?

Installed ffdshow. It didn't help.Basically, that does not bother me much. but it is interesting why does this happen.

Still sometimes have troubles with slow signal catch in the beginning. If i change channel everything is ok - fast and normal.
