No sound from DVD

hi - not sure why this has happened (don't use DVD's that often) but I get no sound from GBPVR (picture is ok). media player works ok as does PowerDVD8 which I installed to test.

went through all audio renderers in the settings menu (not via config) - changing these options via the settings menu need an app restart?

appreciate any pointers...

The DVD decoders are specified separately in the config app. The missing audio is most likely to do with the audio decoder, not audio renderer.
