Need to mouse click playback screen before remote will work?

I'm using a Harmony One remote via HIP. The remote navigates the GBPVR menu fine, and also Video Library & MovieWiz menus as well.

The problem I'm having is that when I play a video file, the player is unable to receive any navigation commands from the remote until i mouse click on the video play back window. After that it works fine (until i try to play another file and the problem arises again).

Have searched the forums but can't find a solution.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

What type of file are you playing? It sounds like GB-PVR is losing input focus when the file is played, which can happen with certain decoders.
I seem to remember DIVX having a tray icon that would jump up and snag focus when playing

+1, If you are using an older version of Divx (6 or below) you can use this tool to turn off the tray icon and stop gbpvr from losing focus. It doesn't work for later versions.

Thanks for the replies - the linked file wouldn't install though an install of the latest DIVX did the trick
