I found the directions for setting up my HVR-2250 tuner, but when i try to select the ... next to frequencies it is greyed out, and my country list only has 'All Countries', i'm trying to setup ATSC.

Thanks

I think you just select those defauls, then click OK to close the screen.

Then you should be able to set your epg etc, then click map digital channels.
That will scan the ATSC frequencies and bring up all available channels. Someone from the US might be able to give you more advice.

I'm new to all of this, so please bare with me.

When i tried to just continue with the default settings (not selecting country or frequency like the directions state), it tells me I must setup my EPG before I can save my capture source.

I tried to look around the WIKI about the EPG but i was confused on that as well, started to read about Freeview and found a forum post on there site about how to implement it with GB-PVR but I couldn't get it completed yet.

See http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...BPVR-1.4.7 for a walkthrough on an ATSC/QAM setup. I used a 2250 for the instructions.

Thanks for the assistance, i'm very new at this so if going nuts just let me know.

Pages 1-4, no problem. Page 5 is where i'm hitting my snag. The 'Setting' (...) is greyed out on my screen, and my country list is empty, just shows all countries.

Then if I hit Ok, then Map i get "You must import your list of EPG chanels before attempting to scan and map digital channels. Please use the Update EPG button to do this."

Then when I go to Update EPG I get, "You must setup the EPG source before you can continue." Not sure how to do that and the directions seemed vauge, but I am new at this.

Thanks

Matt

Fixed user error. Didn't know you had to select the EPG (2nd drop down) and do the settings on that. Once I completed that step it worked well.

Thanks again

Are you stuck on the digital source configuration screen. Try unchecking (only show devices on this machine) so that you may continue to set up your capture card or device. See if that works
