Pinnacle / Hauppauge 4000i PCTV Dual Sat Pro PCI - Compatible with N-PVR?

Hi Sub

Firstly a big thank you for the work on the latest version - I guess the prospect of a deluge of queries & bug reporting must be a nightmare. Hopefully all the users will be patient and grateful.

I'm obliged to make a donation - it's just not fair to take so much for free and for granted!

Anyhow, just a quick query please;

I've been hanging onto two Pinnacle / Hauppauge 4000i PCTV Dual Sat Pro PCI cards, each with dual tuners, but not yet installed in my XP machine.

The last version of GB-PVR of course did not natively support these but I seem to recall in January you saying that you hoped the new version would work with these cards.

Before I get too excited and change both hardware & software at once can you please advise whether these cards are now supported? (It may save me chasing my tail if detection & scanning are still an issue.)

Fingers crossed - I'm hoping that this version is the solution to my HD Freesat objectives

I'm not sure exactly which device you're talking about. I have tested it with a Hauppauge HVR-4000, for analog, DVB-T and DVB-S. I havnt tested it with any Pinnacle devices, but I'm hopeful it'll now work with it (due to larger input buffer sizes in NPVR, which some Pinnacle devices use to overrun in GBPVR).
