error: Failure Playing back file

I don't know what happened. LiveTV was working up to a point. Now I only get a black screen.

When I turn off LivePreview I get this error: "error: Failure Playing back file".

I've tried uninstalling and deleting the program directory and re-installing. But it doesn't help.

It's trying to play a live tv file, but after waiting six seconds, the file was still zero bytes long, so it gave up. It most likely means some thing has gone wrong with the actually recording part of the process.

gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log most likely contains information about why the recording didn't start.

Everything looks ok there. Is your card working correctly with WinTV2000 etc?

Sorry for the distant response. I could never get the WinTV2000 to actually show a picture.

Since last posting, I've reinstalled Win2k OS. Exchanged my WinPVR150 for another and reinstalled GB-PVR. I can see LiveTV again.

Last time I lost my picture when I started tinkering to get my DVD playback to work. I haven't done any of that yet.

Question: I want to save the configuration settings that I know work. Which files should I backup?
