p.s. Sorry, I feel a bit like Goldilocks; papa bear's font is too big... mama bear's font is too small... baby bear's font is just right!!!
It sounds like you've decided you're happy with the font sizes, Just for future reference font sizes dont need to increased by +1. You can use decimal points, allowing sizes like "8.2" or "8.5" etc.

That's certainly good to know sub. If Hairy is tweaking things in the skin and decides the +1 I suggested is too big for something, he can go a little smaller without going all the way back to the too small size.

Any ideas why I am having this problem with wave on my system?

[edit] forget it: there was something screwed up from an earlier npvr install - deleted everything npvr related, reinstalled and it looks ok now.

Cheers sub, that never even occurred to me :o

I think the best bet is to split the difference and see how it goes. I've tweaked the fonts to be a little larger, some by 0.5 point and others by more.

Cheers

I find it difficult to read the programme details in the time-slots on the TV Guide. Bigger is OK - smaller not so.
I see you are making changes. Thanks.♠

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I like the way the images is resized and is bigger when there is no meta data.
But in other cases there can be some problem (not saying it is a connection). I hope the images below says it all.
The first two is just two examples when it works great and the last is the one with errors.

And I suspect that the skin skips some fanart if the size is too wrong. 'cause I had to browse a couple of files down to get one with this effect. In the others no images were shown at all (could also be that I didn't give npvr the time needed to render the image).

burn notice, a very cool show that I've always enjoyed... I watch it on Hulu now, as I dropped DirecTV and just get hd locals from an antenna
completely irrelevant to the thread of course, but I've had lots of rum&coke so i dont; care

This is down to an error on my part. On how I've sized and positioned the art work. I've hopefully got it sorted for the next update.

I hope to have a significant update to this skin for sub's next public release. Given everythings beta nature, it's not feasible to do regular updates to the skin. Too much changes with the app and how I'm structuring the skin. My plan is to try and sync my updates with sub's releases.

Currently there is a quirk with how nPVR handles artwork. Your missing art is most likely related to that.

Sounds like a good plan. Smile
