Unable to sart device

This is the message I now get after rescanning my qam channels since Comcast decided to move them a second time this week. The scans went fine but when I try to watch live tv to map my channels this is the message I get, logs attached.
I'm about ready to give up on the whole thing, comcast is scrambling more channels all the time and the without clear qam the tunning cards are pretty useless.

It looks like the device is either in use in another application, or in a non-functioning state. Did you try a reboot?

I rebooted and stopped the GBPVR recording service.

update: Now I can view live tv! Is it possible that even though I stopped GBPVR recording service it somehow held on to the device and if so why didn't nPVR just go to 1 of the other tuners(3) I have configured?

Possibly.

That just the way it works. It doesnt try looking for another tuner if the one it wants to use is failing. GBPVR was the same, as is most tv apps.
