please see post #3 of the sticky at the top of the support forum, I have put in quick but detailed instruction on how to get and install the needed mux.

johnsonx42: thanks for the help! I downloaded the WinTV7 file, extracted the HCW files, and did the RegSvr32 on the Mux AX file. I still cannot see any devices on my XP system.
Trying a similar procedure on my Win 7 system, I was unable to do the RegSvr32: I got an 80070005 error (some sort of access/privilege error?).
You would need to run the command prompt as an administrator. Also, if you're talking about 64 bit windows, you need to use the regsvr32 file in the c:\windows\syswow64 directory (that info is also in the sticky; I think I remember the path correctly, I'm running 32-bit so I can't check).
You should update your drivers for the PVR USB2 as well.
If neither of those are it, I dunno; I was able to register the exact files from that download and get analog on both an HVR-1250 and HVR-850 (though I have no usuable analog signal here so I don't actually use it for anything).

also, if you still don't have it working on either system, post your NPVR and NRECORD logs. Also head back to the sticky thread and look for the Filtercheck utility in post 3; run that and post it's log as well.

I ran RegSvr32 as an Admin, and while that worked, I still cannot see the device. I'm running 32-bit Win 7. My drivers come from "PVR-USB2-29xxx_2_2_73_25022_INF.zip" from 2007. I've registered all three AX files. I was unable to find a FilterCheck reference in the same location where I found your other instructions. I've attached the Log files from the XP system.

From what I can see of your logs it seems you haven't done this compelte, I'v PM'd you a solution that has worked for others.
