I am new to GB-PVR. I downloaded and set it up last night, with my vew Hauppauge 150. Everything is working great except the remote.

The problem is not with GB-PVR, but with the remote setup, but I am hoping somebody here can help me out. I have a motorola digital cable box. I downloaded the latest IR software from Hauppauge to get the Motorola settings. Everything works, except I can not get it to send "Enter" after entering the channel. There is an option in the advanced setting of the ir setup program to "Send 'Enter' after Channel", but I get the message "Current Codset does not support 'Enter' jey; optioin disabled".

As it is now, when I change channels in GB-PVR (or any other software) the channel changes in PB-PVR, but the actual cable box just gets the number, but without enter the channel does not actually change. Anybody know a workaround for this?

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about this on the GB-PVR side of things.

You could try to find another codeset that does work with your box, and does include 'enter'. Otherwise, you might have to try contacting Hauppauge.

I had the same issues trying to get the irblaster to work with my PVR-150. Hauppauge support was unable to help me either.

I ended up using a serial cable connection with Girder software and it works great.

Follow this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=77

You just need a serial cable if you don't have one, and be sure to use the file that CWILLS states to use for GB-PVR.

I don't know why I was having so much trouble getting the irblaster to work, but I was sick of messing around with it, and after Hauppauge support couldn't help me, I just bagged the idea and moved on to another method.

Good luck!
