Empty frame when PVRX2 is started.

Hi All,
I get something similar to this when I start PVRX2.


I'm running XP Pro and GBPVR 1.4.7
Logs are in the zip file attached
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Its usually a case of the video card not being up to creating the large textures GBPVR needs.

What videocard do you have?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that'll be the case with that older video card. You could try updating the videocard drivers, but if that doesnt work then your only option might be a newer video card. Sorry.

Forgive me for jumping in here, but wow... that thing is OLD. If you take it out and toss it in a bin of old AGP cards, all the other old AGP cards will say "damn, you are OLD!". Then they'll start telling yo' momma so old jokes. Like, yo momma so old she only got TTL output! Yo momma so old, to change from green to amber she got to change monitors! Yo momma so old, they gotta program her with vectors!

Luckily $50 will buy you a great card. One wonders though how old the PC is that you have such an old AGP card in?

I wanted a separate PC for the media center, so I picked up an used Dell Precision Workstation 340. I removed the after market VGA card I had in it for another machine. Then GBPVR stopped working and I didn't realize that it was the VGA card change, so I did a reinstall.
The problem is this PC has only AGP and PCI, no PCIe

I used an AGP HD2600XT for ages and it worked fine for all SD, I think 1080p blurays were OK, but 1080i broadcast H264 was a pain with 1080 output resolution, but playing it at 720p was OK. I think some later HD models exist in AGP too, but am not 100% sure.
