Hi.
Anybody can reproduce this?

Open nPVR and taskmanager, try to play for example any MKV file, then stop, play, stop, play, etc... and watch for memory usage.

For me, it will eat all 4GB RAM, them nPVR crash with NET out of memory message.

If i connect to nPVR using Graphstudio, i can see big list of graphs. All of them should be closed, there is no FFDshow icon in use, but it looks like something failed to release from memory.

If i play and stop, play and stop, etc... the same file in grapstudio, no memory usage is increasing.

Anybody can reproduce it?

I have hac this happen a couple of times in the last fortnight I think when browsing mkv files - all 2 GB used up.
When using task manager to close NPVR there has been - briefly - 4 or 5 haali media splitter icons in the tray. (Latest haali - pdvd9 codec and latest ffdshow tryout svn for AC3 5.1 spdif - not SAF) Some thing is not releasing by the looks of it.

@Lao Pan:

Thanks.
Are you using DXVA? You are on Win7 or WinXP?

I tryed to reproduced this problem here on WinXP, and it seems to be working fine - but i do not have DXVA hardware here.

Vista 32 all updates - EVR - Default Direct Sound Output - DXVA2 - ATI Catalyst 10.9a Hotfix

Best Picture Quality Ever - but sometimes a bit unstable.

Just had a thought - this could have been before I replaced Catalyst 10.9 with 10.9a -- 10.9a has fixed many Video rendering problems - ATI must have forgoten to break the HTPC side of this driver!!!
