Won't play after skipping while paused

I've just installed 1.5.33 and it exhibits the same issue as 1.5.31.

While watching a NZ tv2 or 3 H264 .ts file if I pause using the keyboard (Ctrl-q) then skip forward using Ctrl-right or Ctrl-f a few times (skipping commercials) then try and resume playback nothing happens, it stays paused, if I skip forward or back again after pressing play then playback resumes.

This also happens using the remote which is to be expected as it's only emulating the keyboard.

Have you tried the FFDSHOW or ARCSOFT H.264 decoders, I found them FAR more reliable than the MS one in terms of skipping/pause/play. Although the audio can still get out of sync (a different issue I believe) I've yet to see it freeze up.

yeah, NPVR has been like this since it first came out - skipping while paused doesn't work right. I just don't try it any more, but sometimes do it by accident and it sure is a hassle to get playback going again; sometimes I have to just exit and restart playback.

I used to skip this way in GB-PVR all the time - it's so much quicker skipping while paused than not.
