Hello all,

My problem is that my recordings show up in the correct directory, but there is nothing in the file (0 mbs). I cannot get live TV to show up in PVR as well.. Here is the path I have been following to create this mess.

installed NPVR along with GB-PVR ver 1.4.7 and couldn't get it to work ... hasd a hard time getting my channels to show up. So I uninstalled everything and went back to GB-PVR 1.4.7 and during that also changed my media hard drive to a 1.5TB WD green drive which was formatted as a dynamic drive, simple partition.

Ever since all that my pvr hasn't functioned properly. My last attempt at correcting it was to uninstall/re install everything (MS Runtime, etc) again.

As far as my level of technical ability goes, I know enough to really screw things up, but not enough to figure out how to fix them Smile So it would not be too far fetched to find out I have inadvertently deleted something, installed something or corrupted something that I am not aware of.

Thanks

It looks like there is no signal, which would result in zero byte recordings and no live tv.

Wow ... guilty as charged. I had connected the cable TV cable to the wrong input on my Hauppauge HVR-1600 during my hard drive swap and completely went down the wrong trouble shooting path. I feel like a doofus !!! Thanks Sub for the quick answer and the greatest software / support/ development on the internet. (Now I guess I'd better go put my money where my mouth is and donate to your cause ... )
