I'm having difficlty adding a DigitalNow Quad DVB-T tuner into the bda.ini file and would appreciate some help.

In graphedit, the 4 tuners appear under BDA Source Filters only (no entries under BDA Receiver Components). When I add one of these source filters to the graph, it has only one pin (Input0).

How should I configure bda.ini ?

I'm using GBPVR 1.4.7 (in NPVR the tuner is natively detected and works fine, but I prefer using GBPVR)

Manufacturer's webpage: http://www.digitalnow.com.au/product_pages/Quad.html
(I believe this board is atually multiple USB tuners ganged together with PCIe<-->PCI<-->USB adapters onboard)

Can you run the filtercheck.exe utility and post the filtercheck.log?

You'll probably need to add something like this:

[DigitalNow QUAD DVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=QUAD DVB-T
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Almost works. I can scan channels ok and occasionally get TV channel video/audio in the digital mapping mini-window, however the GBPVR LiveTV has a short burst of audio and blank screen. I've attached the logs.

The log looks generally ok. It'll probably relate to the audio or video decoders.

I'd try it in NPVR. It'll probably just work.

Thanks Sub. The tuner works fine in NPVR, but with NPVR I miss the AC3 audio on TV3. How close are you to releasing NPVR with 'prefer AC3' ?

Try setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\PreferAC3=1 (DWORD)

Brilliant - thanks, the registry setting works great! I'll use NPVR from now on.

(I'm running 64bit so I actually set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\NPVR\PreferAC3=1 (DWORD) )

Further to NPVR 2.1.5 thread, I have set the HKLM\Software\NPVR\PreferAC3=1 and ATSC, and HDPVR recordings still start with

"Static Reference clock set to: MPEG1 Audio Renderer"

QAM recordings start with

Static Reference clock set to: AC3 Audio Renderer
