Pause/Play on MCE Remote

Hello, I have one of those MCE knock-off remotes that are part remote and part keyboard, at least as seen by Windows. It's an ORtek VRC-1100 aka Adesso ARC-1100.

My problem doesn't concern the keyboard part, that's my problem as it's unsupported.

This remote works well with GB-PVR for all the MCE core functions (pause/play,etc.)

On NPVR the Pause/Play buttons don't seem to be working at all. However, Stop, Skip Ahead/Back - all the core MCE buttons EXCEPT Pause/Play work. On MCE they are one in the same button anyway.

Again, I just want to stress that those buttons work on the same computer with GB-PVR with no modifications e.g. reg tweaks/HIP/EventGhost. I exit out of GB-PVR and open NPVR and it doesn't.

Any suggestions?

Here you are. Thanks for taking a look, fresh log. Started playing Band Of Brothers, pressed play/pause 3 times each then stop. Seems to be showing towards the bottom of the log.

Thanks! For now, I remapped it to the keyboard shortcut using LM Remote. See my post also in this area about LM Remote. (WOW).

Smajor, can you share what you did to change it in LMRemote? I'll probably need to do the same.
sub, any chance you can take a look at mine? It has seperate Play/Pause. Play works fine, but it won't pause. I started the recording, pressed pause 5 times, then stopped.

Your log (according to the Microsoft documentation) just shows a APPCOMMAND_MEDIA_PAUSE key being pressed, not a APPCOMMAND_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE

After messing with it, and having both 14 & 47 show up when hitting Pause, I got frustrated, deleted the action all together from LM Remote, and all of a sudden it started working .Go figure.

I mapped the Pause/Play buttons to CONTROL+Q I think, but my original message was before sub's last release and it was probably fixed in it or as part of one of the released packages. So yah, it should work without the aid of LM Remote now. I should probably do that myself and see if my issue was resolved. :-)
