BBC Iplayer Downloader Plugin - Beta + Support

I can see the TV Highlights and Favorites and I get a list of matches when I search. However, when I try to download anything, I get the error dialog suggesting an ISP throttling error. I've tried it at various times of the day but always the same error. I must have done something daft...

Have the BBC changed something again, can see highlights and favorites, but cannot search nothing is returned and downloads seem to be just black screens.

Stopped working for me as well. Nothing is returned on search or highlights

It's stuffed for me too. Favourites was returning results, but any attempt to download something failed after a few seconds. I wonder if it's a change at the BBC end, or whether the perl script needs to be updated.

Is anything still happening with get_iplayer or is it all dead and buried?

Any chance it will work with NPVR?

Just thought i'd give this a little bump. I used it a while back on GBPVR and it was very good. It would be great to have an NPVR version (and ITV Player too come to that).

+1 I've ended up with a custom task that runs XBMC with its iPlayer, ITV player, 4OD and 5 on demand plugins...

Sounds like a neat idea.
Obviously the big appeal of the get_iplayer was that it downloaded programmes to your local HD, they didn;t expire and it added them to your recordings list.
Someone would have to confirm that the backend get_iplayer system still works before anyone could entertain the idea of revisiting the plugin.

That's true. But even a simple player that streamed it would be better than nothing.
