Hauppauge Remote control not working

I'm using HIP which maps my remote volume buttons to the windows master volume. However, due to different volume in applications it would be nice to have a built-in volume, any plans for that?

OK - so that explains why volume doesnt work on the remote. Would be great if you could (please?) include in future releases...

I'd rather it stay the windows volume, myself. It's confusing to have multiple volume controls to have to check when the volume won't go up or down like I want it to.

It has its disadvantages, sometimes the sound from npvr is much louder than from other programs, so it would be nice with it's own volume control.
