I am trying to configure my Hauppauge USB-Live2 device. As it has not got a h/w encoder I have installed WinTV7, with which it works well, and put this entry in the AnalogDevices.xml, admittedly it was guess work!

<Device filter="Hauppauge USB-Live2">
<Name>Hauppauge USB-Live2</Name>
<Type>SOFT_ENCODE</Type>
</Device>

But it doesn't appear in the 'Devices'
I have attached a filtercheck.zip, which i'm afraid is is double-dutch to me.
What am I doing wrong?

Can you go into the Settings -> Devices screen, then post the npvr.log?

Here is the NPVR.log.
Just one thing.I did have a Hauppauge 250 PCI card installed, but that has now been removed, but it still shows in Devices.

Is WinTV7 installed, and the device working there?

To be honest, I'm not sure. There is no sign of of the device from NPVR's perspect. It was definitely plugged in when you visited the Devices screen?

Sorry, I'm not sure what to suggest. From NPVR's perspective it doesnt look like the device is plugged in.

Does it show up in Windows' Device Manager?

Can you try running filtercheck.exe, and post the filtercheck.log?
