I have just upgraded to the Hauppauge Nova-T USB2 from the previous Nova-T USB product so that I can use GB-PVR. Unfortunately I can't seem to get things working though it does seem to be close.
GB-PVR (which I've just upgraded to 0.92.8) and .net framework are installed as per website instructions and will play live TV. If I ask it to record it creates a folder. But that's it. No file created. The system tray icon goes green but just stays like that. I feel it must be something simple but I'm now stuck.
Any help gratefully received.

Which MPEG-2 multiplexer filter are you using (Cyberlink/ShowShifter/Intervideo) and what version? I suspect you dont have one of these installed.

Thanks sub. I've not noticed having to do that before. I have cyberlink powerDVD 4. Is that any good or am I playing on the wrong pitch?

That will give you an MPEG2 decoder, but not the MPEG2 Multiplexer that is required to record with DVB devices. GB-PVR is compatible with the Cyberlink, ShowShifter and Intervideo MPG Mulitplexer filters.

Use the forum search function to look for MpgMux.ax for pointer where to find the Cyberlink mux.
