MCE Remote for GB-PVR

I currently have a couple of MCE machines and was thinking of converting one to GB-PVR as I think it wouldbe betterfor the machine specs... does the MCE remote work with GB-PVR, and can it be used to control anSTB as in MCE?

The remote can be used, but the IR blaster for controlling external STB cannot. Microsoft never released any information on blaster side of things.

I'm pleased to report that I now have this working
 Using this: http://www.thegreenbutton.com/community/...geID=93348 Girder, and the girder.gml script. Successfully controlling an NTL cable box in the UK.
