NextBlue skin for npvr

Thanks for the update especially for MusicBox 4 skin quite impressive reduction in memory. I like the music wall better in random mode too, MB4 tries to stay centred and having the odd number of columns will make it easier for me when I play for a long time.

I notice the middle album column in the first selection screen is not set right for more than 3 albums so the there is a scrolling problem.

Channel icons are a smaller and harder to read in the Recordings screen. I find the Orange shading for the selected program in the TV Guide harder to read. I really liked the simple blank page icon you used in 1.32 for the information box on the recordings screen. The 3 layered box is busy and takes up more space.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have any artists with more than 3 albums but I'll make some and do some testings.

Northpole every update looks a little nicer, and is a little lighter on memory thanks.. I have a question on channels icon, I recently found a Canadian icon pack with a nice set of fully transparent icons that look nice in Default but in NextBlue it is kind of messy. Any suggestion how to modify this so that things look better?

Well, heres what I do with channel Icons... I draw a white background first, then write the channel name and finally overwrite them both with the Icon if available. As long as you have Icons for all your channels, the quickest and easiest thing would be to change the white background to the same color as the rest to the TV Guide. Edit the guide.xml file under the TVGuide subdirectory and find

<Rect location="0.1,0.1" size="48.8,99.8" fillColor="IconMask"/>

under the Channels element and change it to:

<Rect location="0.1,0.1" size="48.8,99.8" fillColor="ChannelMask"/>

That should fix the TV Guide.

You could also make a global change to the IconMask color in the global.xml file and make that the same as the Channel Mask color. The only place where there would be a problem would be under the recurring recordings screen. Sub doesn't make the icon available there and so you would need to do something there.

Let me know what works and I'll see if I can think of anything else.
