Programs scheduled to record are not red in the guide.

To see if there are duplicates the TV Guide, select a show, then press the left or right arrows to see if it consistently moves to the show to the left or right with each keypress. If it sometimes takes more than one keypress then there is most likely duplicates.

I have the same problem and it is definitely not a duplicate issue for me, I seem to remember it only happened after the last update V 2.1.5.
I only use the DVB EPG if that helps, the recordings work fine it is just the colour of the square. The only other issue I have with the recordings is when I select to record a program from the EPG select the mode that I want "all season, record once etc" that works fine but then when I go back into the recording and select "update" I cannot change it from say "record once" to "record all season" nothing will change. I have to cancel the recording and then select mode I now want, hope that makes sense.
I will admit that I am presuming that is the way update should work.

I have just discovered that Sub is right (of course he is) it is a duplicate channel issue (for me at least)
I used to think that it was my remote playing up but no on some channels I have push twice to move it along and those are the channels with the issue.

the issue where you can't change the recording mode is by design. you can change other aspects of the recording, but not the mode.

I believe this is because there are various 'behind-the-scenes' differences among some of the recording modes, and it would be more work than it's worth to allow after-the-fact changes in recording modes. at some point in the future perhaps a UI change could be made to make it clear that you're not supposed to be able to change the recording mode. it seems every 3rd new NextPVR user reports this as a bug.

yes I think I read another post that said it was by design, I just remember it working like that in GBPVR.
No big deal, just delete and setup again.

This is interesting as I have now noticed that I have to push twice to move to each program. So looks like I have some sort of duplicates. The questions is, now what? I cant find anything in the configs that show any kind of duplication. What I am looking for to get rid of this issue? It affects me on every channel as far as I can see.
Should I blow away the EPG and re-update? Will this fix it?

first empty epg, update the epg. See if the duplicates occur right away.

Im using the method discussed in this thread (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t-day-only).
essentially I have a DVB-T setup for TV but a DVB-S setup for the EPG. I have done some more testing and it seems that its downloading BOTH the DVB-T and the DVB-S EPGs as the doubling up only lasts for the now/next programs from the DVB-T EPG. Move forward a couple of hours and there is no double ups.

So, how can I control the EPG downloads from the different sources? Is there a config file I can edit somewhere where I can remove all the unwanted channels? Or should I remove all the channels and start again only using the DVB-S method above? There is the possibility that because I originally used the DVB-T EPG and then later changed to the DVB-S method that its now doing both.

What a mess.
