Well, I took a look at it and I wasn't real happy with the word wrap so I didn't post anything. But since you asked, you can try this... I'm not sure how it will look on your system but you can give a go. Unzip and copy the .xml file into the subdirectory Skin\NextBlue\Popups

Sadly that one would not wrap for me. In the end I had to increase the element height to 7 to get it to wrap nicely. I also dropped the font size one point but the existing font size is ok. I made a few tweaks to the enclosed to accomodate the change in field height.

I am not sure how many folk use the Advanced Rules. I think they are great. The flexibility is superb. The only problem with them is that they are hard to edit if you only have one line.

I have made a few more tweaks to make it a little wider. This one allows me to fit an upper and lower bound on the start time

title like '%doctor who%' AND time(start_time,'localtime')>time('17:00:00') AND time(start_time,'localtime')<time('23:00:00')

I have been using this background file as it is a darker blue and provides a higher contrast with the white text. I thought you might like it.

I am finding the coverart in the list view in Videos/Recordings a little small. Can you see if you can make them a little larger. I have tweaked your files to make them larger - but had to compromise on some things to accommodate them. Anyhow let me know if you want to take a look.

I have enclosed tweaked versions of the Videos and Recordings files for you to take a look. All I have really done is remove a few things and then maximized the space allocated to the coverart and description for the list view.

I removed the backdrop as I thought it looked quite neat without it and it allowed me to maximize the image size without making the borders look undersized. I removed the title as it is in the list. I removed the subtitle (which you probably cant do for the American audience). I also removed the error message from the list view as it is visible in the popup message when you select a failed recording. I was finding long error messages harder to read as I think they are forced to drop a font size as they cant wrap.

Its a compromise but it allows me to make the coverart much larger on my setup. Not sure if this input is useful. And this is just one users preference - I realize that this will not suit all setups

Just started using this skin and love it (thanks Northpole). It is just about perfect for me but I've made a couple of minor tweaks and found one little issue:

The issue is that the groups option (alt-G) in the Guide gives an error. I guess the popup needs skinning but I see nothing in the wiki about this being a todo etc.. Only mentioning it in case it was overlooked.

I found the recordings screen a little cluttered as the title/period/status all have the same font and colour. So I changed to other available colours (red mini & yellow mini) and it makes the titles standout much better and it is easier to see if a recording is in progress.

For users like me who use fanart as a background to video pages I found the metadata rectangle a bit too opaque so I just tuned the meta colour to be a little more transparent.

Also agree with XJW in earlier post that the coverart could do with being a little larger.

it looks very good but in particular, I think the recording titles should stand out more (like the yellow in the default skin)

If I started using this skin full time, I would remove the channel numbers and just leave the channel icons in the tv guide to maximise space for the content.

You may be aware but just in-case - Northpole has included another version of the TV Guide without the Channel Numbers. This is the one I use. There is a small issue with it that I had forgot to mention before - you lose the day of the week.
