Remote Problem + Zap2it issue

I just installed GBPVR and set up my PVR-250, but my remote won't work, and even though I have a zap2it account and it recieves channel info, nothing shows up on the guide. I set up the remote as Hauppauge IR Blaster and set the direct access on the Misc tab....is there anything I'm missing?
btw should I not have the IR Remote app that came with the card running?

well now the guide shows a few channels, but not all of them =/

If you have the new 45 button remote, then you need the Hauppauge IR app to be running.

Check you channel line up at http://labs.zap2it.com. You may need to do an 'empty epg' first, before doing an 'update epg' to force it download all the shows again. I dont know then. I may have broken something with this. Ever since I got my PVR150 about 8 months ago, the IR port on my PVR350 hasnt worked, so I no longer test this.
Disable direct access to the hauppauge remote, and run the hauppauge IR app.

The Hauppauge IR Blaster is included with the PVR150, and is for controlling external cable boxes etc. Set the channel changer to 'none'.
